See how sake is made and enjoy tasting different types at Shibata Brewery, which was established in 1830 and has been brewing sake for more than 185 years. The outstanding natural environment of the local area creates excellent groundwater. This is drawn from wells and combined with carefully polished rice to brew a mellow sake that you just want to keep drinking. In 2016, a factory called Ginjogura was reconstructed and the company made a new start by brewing with traditional methods, kimoto and yamahi using natural yeast.
