Suzumo Internation Corporation is the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Suzumo Machinery Co., Ltd. (listed in JASDAQ in Japan) who in 1981, invented the world's first sushi machine. Suzumo has not only become synonymous with sushi making in Japan, but has helped develop a strong sushi market throughout the world. Currently sold in over 80 countries, all of the machines are made in Japan and have been tested and certified under UL and NSF standards for the U.S. market.
