At Hodo Soy, our mission is to craft the highest quality tofu and create innovative and delicious tofu-based artisan foods that will forever change the way you know tofu. Our hand-crafted tofu is made from organic, non-GMO, US-grown, whole soybeans. Hodo tofu reflects, in both taste and nutrition, the best quality ingredients we use.
We have been making tofu in the Bay Area of California now for just over a decade. Our roots are in the local farmers’ markets, and we are proud to say we have customers using our tofu at their stands here in Northern California to this day! As well, we are able to provide tofu to some of the most innovative and traditional restaurants and commissaries, from the most selective white linen service businesses to the down-to-earth ecological and sustainable ones (not that they are mutually exclusive). We believe we are of interest to this variety of businesses due to our commitment to nutrition, provenance of our raw ingredients as well as sustainability and social responsibility.
We produce a line of Ready-to-Cook and a convenient line of Ready-to-Eat tofus and yubas. All are certified organic by CCOF, non-GMO, US-sourced soybeans from cooperatives of family farmers in the Midwest, gluten-free, certified Kosher and completely vegan.
