HOW TO EAT : A product which is ready to serve, open the leaf and eat as a whole fruit ,or you may cut into pieces and serve as several separate portions .An excellent accompaniment to red or white wine, sweet dessert wine and liqueurs. Fantastic served with cheese such as pecorino, parmesan, gorgonzola as well as soft cheeses such as goats cheese, ricotta and taleggio .Also goes well with cold cuts such as ham, bresaola .Top with lard or ‘nduja ( a hot tomato based spread found in Italy) and it is exquisite.
