Cremōr Irish Cream is produced by Avondhu Liqueur Company, located in Fermoy, Co. Cork, Ireland. Avondhu Liqueur Company is a sister company to Silver Pail Dairy, Ireland’s largest ice cream company. The marriage of delicious flavor expertise provided by our ice cream experience and in-depth technical knowledge of cream liqueur production has provided the basis for development of the Cremōr range.
The business was founded in 1978 by Michael Murphy, a dairy scientist. We are now a second-generation family run business with almost 40 years’ experience producing cream liqueur for various international brands. This experience has led us to make an innovative new range of Cream Liqueurs on our own behalf. We wanted to produce a product which not only tastes great but can also be used in innovative ways. Our location in the heart of the Golden Vale gives us access to the best fresh Irish cream, delivered daily from a local dairy. The best Spirits and Whiskey are also produced in Co. Cork. It is the combination of these ingredients which make Cremōr so special.
