SUSTA helps Southern food/ag companies enter foreign markets
The Southern U.S. Trade Association implements USDA Market Access Programs to help companies expand sales in foreign markets. Through the Brand Promotion program, SUSTA can reimburse companies 50% of eligible marketing expenses to grow brand awareness in foreign markets. Using SUSTA's International Marketing Program, companies can participate in trade shows and trade missions to meet foreign buyers.
Eligible companies must be headquartered in the southern region of the U.S.; must be small by SBA standards; must have a product that is value-added as well as branded; and the product must come from at least 50% U.S. agriculture.
